Why Our Sealer
Sealer that outlasts the standard
by a decade.
If you've had your granite sealed before — by your fabricator, a handyman, or a cleaning service — odds are they used Miracle 511 Impregnator. It's the industry standard for good reason: it works, it's affordable, and nearly every stone professional reaches for it.
The catch is the lifespan. On a countertop, 511 typically performs for 3 to 5 years before it needs reapplication. That's why the sealer your fabricator put on at install isn't doing much for you anymore.
We use a different class of product: a premium penetrating impregnator rated for 15 years of performance — roughly three times the lifespan of 511.
It bonds at a molecular level into the stone itself, holds up under daily use, and protects against oil, water, and acidic staining for over a decade. We'll walk you through exactly what we use when we talk.
One honest caveat: Hawaii's hard water is its own beast. Even with the best sealer underneath, mineral deposits will build up on the surface over time — the white film and spotting you see around faucets and sinks. That's surface buildup, not sealer failure, and it's something we can address with periodic cleaning. The sealer protects the stone; routine maintenance handles the water.
